I have always been very fond of playing games (and I am talking about different types of board and card games now).
My all time favourit is a game called "Rappakalja". I have done some research on the Internet and found that you might call it "Balderdash". The idea is to make up your own meaning to an unknown word and try to fool the other opponents. I think the reason why I like it so much, is that it is the only game that I have any chance to win, as "imaginativeness" (I hope that is a word!) is one of my greater talents! ![]()
Another game I like is "Absolut överens" or as you might call it: "Soul mates". Very funny indeed to see how differently you can answer obvious questions, like "name furniture in your home that you would not want to be without" or "irritating things about parents" You play in pairs and only get to move forward if your answers are identical. ![]()
The best way to get me out-of-playing-games-mood is to put a Trivial Pursuit in front of me! I would rather do all the cleaning and cooking for a week (not that I don't do that anyway
), then having to play that awful game that will only reduce my self-confidence to zero! ![]()
I am not lying, when saying that I have waited 15 years for my children to grow so that we can play more advanced games together, the whole family, and we have great fun when we do (well, at least I have!

By the way, I managed to win a (card) game of Chicago tonight when I was playing with the eldest son and his girlfriend. Just plain luck of course!
