When I was six years old, my parents took me, my sister and brother on a cruise around the Brittish isles. I don't remember so much from the trip, but I have at least a few very bright memories.
The green moors of Ireland... the horse cemetery in Scotland (?)... the castles... the empty bottle in the restaurant on board, where I - for some strange reason - tucked in my new bracelet and forgot about it until the next day when the bottle was thrown away... the red double deckers that I never got to ride on, as they never seemed to go where we were heading... the pink new handbag I managed to lose in a shop and then made my mum go ashore searching for... (an impossible mission, as my mum did not even speak English!
)
And then there was this church! A very small church, all made of small pieces of china! Over the years, I have tried to find out more about the church but failed. It has been 40 years and with very few details, I never thought I would find it again. Until this morning, when I was browsing the net and found something that I indeed think is the one!
It is called "The little chapel" and is in Guernsey. I would really love to go there again some day!
I would also like to see the green moors of Ireland again... and the horse cemetary in Scotland... the castles... and who knows, I would maybe even be able to get my "new" pink handbag back!

and I think I loved it the way it was
imagine if you did get the handbag back, I wonder if it would live up to the image of it that you have in your memory.
